Crossroads and Corners Map by Scheel
Eugene Scheel is a cartographer and collector of tales. His talent produced the Historic Map of Prince William which Historic Prince William commissioned in 1990. The Historic Map of Prince William County graphically locates roads, towns, schools, post offices and many other features of the area. Potomac River depths are marked as well as elevations. Special attention is paid to the First and Second Battles of Manassas, with insets of the battle. Several line drawings of noteworthy buildings decorate the map. Finished overall size is 37" by 33". The map is available in a signed limited edition, as well as flat (suitable for framing) and folded for convenient use in a glove box or briefcase.
His book and map together are an important tool for anyone doing research about Prince William County and its residents.
